The water treatment system for beer production includes the following main clusters:
Water is the basic ingredient in brewing, accounting for 85-90% of weight. Beer is a direct drink to the body, the quality of water involved in the brewing process, greatly influencing the quality of beer into finished products.
- Standards of brewing water standards: TCQG - TCVN7042: 2009
+ Not smells, tasteless, colorless.
+ The temporary hardness is about 0.72mg / liter
+ Permanent hardness of 0.26 - 0.76mg equivalents / liter
Oxidation: 2mg O2 / liter.
+ Total VSV <100Tb / ml
+ Eloli not more than 3TB per liter
+ PH 6.8-7.2
The water treatment system in the brewery includes the following main clusters:
- Sump pump pool
- Control of coal filtration system
- Softening control system
- Control the RO system
The most important is the RO water purification system. This water filtration system uses RO membranes to act on the motion of the water element due to the compressive pressure of the pump producing a strong current. Under this action, chemical components, metals, impurities in the water move more forcefully, splashing out into low pressure areas or drifting outward along the discharge path.
In this process, the particles pass through the filters at a minimum size of 0.0001 microns. At that size, most metals and impurities are retained on the membrane surface.
- Semipermeablemembrane: This membrane is composed of components:
+ Fabric Backing layer.
Plasticized Trico yarn with spiral grooves on the surface creates eddy currents for filtered water out of the RO.
+ Brine Spacer
This permeable membrane removes solvents, and insoluble substances in water.
- Pressure coating for RO membrane pressure Vesel
Sealant sealants
- Fiberglass Membrane Shel.
As with other water filtration systems, the brewery water treatment system operates in two modes: Manual and Auto.
In Auto mode, the system works in principle:
- The system runs automatically in two water levels in the brewing water tank. When the water reaches a high threshold, the system automatically stops, when the water level drops to its original value, the system continues to operate.
- There is a hydrostatic sensor to monitor water levels in two tanks.
Normally, water content in beer is 90% - 92% of weight. It can be said that water is the main raw material for beer production, however, in each stage of brewing, water content and water quality are required differently. Therefore, equipping the water purification system in brewing technology plays an important role, not only creating more quality products but also actively supporting the production equipment protection.
