UF Ultrafiltration Technology

Water treatment with UF membrane filtration technology is a first-of-its-kind water treatment technology that utilizes membranes that are up to 10,000 times smaller in size than pores.

UltraFiltration (UF) is a low-pressure membrane filtration technology that removes large particles of water from the water. Under a pressure of no more than 2.5 bars, water, mineral salts and molecules / ions are smaller than filter holes (0.1 – 0.005 microns). Larger molecules, viruses, bacteria will be trapped and discharged.

I. Structure

Ultrafiltration membrane UF is made into small tubes, outer diameter 1.6 mm. A filter is a bunch of thousands of small tubes, so the filter area is very large, increasing the flow of water several times. Filter membranes act as superior filtration media with a variety of membrane sizes ranging from 0.01 um to 0.1 um. II.The operational principle

UF filter can operate according to two principles:

+ from the outside: the filter layer is outside the membrane, the stream of contaminated water is pushed from outside the membrane. Clean water after filtration is collected inside the filter.

+ from the inside : the filter layer inside the membrane. Contaminated water is injected from the inside of the membrane. Clean water after filtration is collected outside the membrane.

Water after removing large and medium matter, under a certain pressure, liquid flow enters the membrane surface. Small holes in the surface of the UF membrane allow the water molecules to pass into the infiltration, while the larger size of the material is retained on the surface of the membrane becoming dark liquid. dense, from which clean water goes out.

IV. Disadvantages
