PAC (Poly Aluminum Chloride) is used for water treatment , used in drinking water filtration, helping to deposit colloidal compounds and suspended substances, removing organic matter, bacteria, and viruses. PAC is also used in the pulp and paper industry, seafood processing factories, and livestock slaughterhouses.
There are solid PACs and liquid PACs . The solid form is a yellowish ivory white powder, completely soluble in water. Users only need to mix PAC powder into a 10% or 20% solution with clear water, add the amount of solution corresponding to the coagulant into the water to be treated, stir well and let it settle. Under normal storage conditions (closed, in a dry place, at room temperature), it can be stored for a long time. Liquid PAC is golden brown in color and can be stored in plastic bottles or cans for long-term storage.
