Water filtration process of RO water treatment system

Ro water filtration technology in hospitals has a relatively similar process to other RO water filtration systems as follows:

First, the booster pump is responsible for pumping water from the hospital tank into the water filtration system. Once water has entered the system, the coarse filter column operates, removing medium and large sized impurities and organic compounds suspended in the water. Each filter stage of the coarse filter column has a different task.

- Multi-layer filter column: Includes filter materials such as gravel and manganese sand divided into distinct layers. Here, medium and large sized wastes are retained. The water is then sent to the activated carbon filter column.

- Activated carbon filter column: Cloudy color and fishy smell will be eliminated right at the carbon filter column. Helps water return to a colorless, odorless state.

- Cartridge filter material: To ensure that the RO filter membrane is not damaged by small solids suspended in water, a cartridge filter column is designed to handle those solids.

- RO filter membrane: Also known as reverse osmosis membrane with a microscopic size <0.01mm, the RO filter membrane has the effect of completely removing microscopic impurities, harmful germs and bacteria in the environment. water.

- It is called reverse osmosis membrane because the RO membrane has a self-washing mechanism, so water always meets standards when passing through the RO membrane.

- Carbon filter column: Containing positive ion particles and a number of different chemicals, water will be treated for hardness, water softening and salt reconstitution at this filter column. Ion filter columns have a number of typical features suitable for hospital water treatment requirements such as:

- The filter column is made of steel coated with anti-corrosion epoxy paint and does not change pressure.

- The ion filter column is linked to the water hardness quality monitoring system.

- The filter column is designed to ensure optimal use of salt, ion exchange resin and backwash.

- The remaining germs and bacteria after going through the RO filter will be completely cleaned at the Carbon filter column.

After being completely treated, the water will be brought into the tank according to the water pipeline system to serve the usage process.
